    Default NHL playoffs

I've been meaning to watch the playoffs but I've been out of town and missed everything so far.

Vancouver's pretty much a lock to win it all. Who comes in second?

    Anyone watching?

The Vancouver - L.A. series has been great so far, as has the Detroit - Phoenix. For whatever reason, all the match-ups are hotly contested this year. Every series could pretty much go either way.

If I'm being honest, I think San Jose or CHicago (most likely Chicago) will come out of the West. I don't think it will matter who comes out of the East, the Western COnference is that much better.

    GO CANUCKS!

San Jose should be winning this series. Colorado is the worst team in the Western Conference playoffs. Nabakov has been awful, Thornton and Marleau have done their usual disappearing act, and Colorado has won two close games by having the bounces go their way. They're outplaying the Avs by a huge margin, but Anderson is standing on his head and Colorado is getting all the luck. If San Jose doesn't win this series and go deep in the playoffs, that team needs to be blown up.

Nbakov has been terrible. It's kind of scary, I think the Olympic drubbing Canada put on him has effected him mentally, he just hasn't been the same in big games since.

    We outshot them 51-17 tonight

To be fair, it looked like he played ok tonight. You can't really blame him for the last goal. He was godawful in Game 2 though, he almost single-handedly cost them that game.

I always considered him a pretty clutch goaltender until the game against Canada. I know it's a small sample size, but he's looked like shit when it matters ever since then.

This game is fucking brutal. The Canucks are one of the most bipolar teams in the league. They still have a chance to win, but my God that 2nd period was atrocious. The Sedins and Burrows have been fucking horrible tonight.

well they're only down 1-0. I forgot it was on actually. I'm going to stick with this Vancouver=lock to win it all thing till it all goes down in flames. They're just too good for a hockey team from fucking California.

I'm a Canucks fan, this is normal for me. They are one of the losingest bunch of fucking losers in all of sports. The only thing that surprises me about them is the new and interesting ways they find to lose. For example, the Kings are 9/14 on the Powerplay, that is absolutely unheard of.

I series hope the entire coaching staff is fired and the team sees significant changes if they lose this series the way they're losing it so far. They have absolutely no heart and all their key players are signed long-term with NTC's. They're going to be the new Maple Leafs.

I don't really like the Sedins, I know they're good but yeah something bothers me about them.
