We got a 15 meter blue whale washed up only 1 km down the beach from my favorite surf break.
My mate was out there last week and a ten foot great white came out of the water and glared at him (he fell off his board).![]()
Another mate tells me that the fisheries have tracked via sat nav another great white they call g.20.
G 20 was tagged a few years back in Glenelg in south Australia and was 20 feet long at the time.
So now we got two proven GW's here at Flinders, minimum!
Went surfing there today at low tide (so the cunts cant swim into 2 to 3 feet depth) rocks r everywhere too so I'm pretty safe, I stand on a rock about a 1/2 a kilometer off shore and wait until I see a set wave I fancy then jump off paddle out 20 feet to the impact zone quickly turn and Im into a pitching barrell.
But it got overcast and rainy so Im praying for company out there, seemed to have worked well every time someone went in another person entered the water to keep me company so basically I've been out all morning in perfect little tubes with only 2 to 3 people out the whole time!
Its like dying and going back to the seventies: Heaven perfect empty waves
Just shareing a day in the life of our coast.
