Default Big UK boxing show in September.

    MEGA CARD FOR SEPTEMBER

    Some good match ups there.

Reminds me of the Don King super shows of the 90s that were always packed with talent and action.

Might be going to this one.

That is Warrens best card for three years but lets be honest now, do you really think that will be the fights come fight night? Very unlikely.

Frank needed Kevin Mitchell to win against Katsidis because now with him beat and Khan off to America he's got a. no headliners who can sell a show and b. a bunch of top prospects on big (for prospects) contracts who he has to pay. So he's outbidding other promoters for their own top matches, something that guys like Fat Mick won't be happy with (Warren's done it in the past too with Froch and others.) I wouldn't be surprised to see the main event fall through on this one. Does anybody know if Macklin is signed to a promoter or is he a free agent?

I think Macklin is a free agent, Macklin just seems a major fuck up to me, he got bashed up and sent home with his tail between his legs from the Wild Card, Hatton got him a Euro shot in his first fight under him. He then dumps Hatton and the Euro Belt to chase world dreams now he is back to fight for the belt he gave up to get a world title shot?? The guy is only what 28? He has had more promoters and Trainers than most have had hot dinners.

Still though if his head is right he can do a number on Barker.

More chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding Shergar across Tower Bridge than that bill holding up.

I'll bet three, no make that two of those title fights happening.

I think Macklin is a top fighter Skel, but I didn't know about him leaving Hatton and droppin off from the Wild card. If this is true, I would honestly have to think that Macklin is a bit of a nightmare to work with and just isn't an easy fella to get along with. There is just no way in hell he should move aroud trainers that much, he's spoiling it for himself for sure looking at things.....

I'd love to see this card hold up, and i'd also love to see Rhodes do something with the opportunity he forged when he beat Moore. If he doesn't that just be incredibly annoying..... No less
