Thread: KT Tunstall - A talent. In every sense of the word

I'm honestly not sure if this is a name that rings a bell with you guys from outside of the UK? She was pretty much big news for a little while over here but I'd never really paid her much mind.

That was until a couple of days ago when the BBC ran a show called Songwriters' Circle where it was effectively an audience with KT Tunstall, David Gray & Ray Lamontagne.

One of her performances absolutely blew me away (see video).
I'm a nightmare for these type of threads, I know. I put up a vid of Paolo Nutini that went down like a lead balloon (Paolo Nutini Great American Song-Book ) but I don't know what it is about this performance that just struck me as mini genius.

Oh, and she's kinda fit. In a wired way.

Such a great show...! Has been going for an absolute generation and deserves all the merit in the world! There is something about this program that manages to showcase music in its true light, from Mary J Bliege to the aforementioned KT Tunstall... Their talents are usually exhibited in such a way that you can't help admire them. Great show.

She isn't a super star by any means in the U.S. but is reasonably well known. She has a couple of tracks that have got radio play. Not normally a genre I'd listen to much but the wife likes her and I usually find myself tapping along with it in the car.
