Default Mayweather Seeks Delay of Pacquiao Deposition

Lawyers for Mayweather have filed an emergency request asking a U.S. District Court judge in Nevada to postpone the deposition he is expected to give on Friday for the lawsuit of Manny Pacquiao. The reaon for the delay is that his attorney is not available for Friday's hearing and that Mayweather needs to focus on his fight against Ortiz.

I believe, Mayweather owes us boxing fan an explanation for his allegation of Pacquiao's steriod use and show proof that Pacquiao is using steriods. I hope the judge will not delay this deposition.

Floyd didn't accuse pacquiao of anything. All he did was say 'anyone who fights me has to go through random blood testing.' Pacroids guilty concience obviously interpreted it in a different way.....

Clearly the judge in the case sees it differently.

U.S. District Judge Larry Hicks said Pacquiao has sufficient evidence to continue his lawsuit that alleges Mayweather and others acted with malice by accusing the Filipino boxer in a series of interviews of using performance-enhancing drugs.

"Moving defendants argue that Pacquiao has failed to sufficiently allege malice because moving defendants could not have known one way or the other whether Pacquiao had actually taken PEDs when they made the alleged defamatory statements," the order reads. "However, the court finds that Pacquiao has sufficiently pled malice in the amended complaint."

I think Pacquiao needs to man up regarding this whole issue. What a complete and utter fag for getting so upset by it. He is the one that originally refused random drug testing and then he wants to cry foul because people think he is suspicious.

I am not a homosexual and yet I am the forum gay, does that mean I can now go around suing everybody on here? Heck , he should take it as a badge of honour that people think he is that good.

I am proud of being the forum gay and Pac should be proud that he is so good people think he is on drugs....unless he is really on them after all. I mean if I was really gay, then I don't think I would be amused by it all. But I'm not...really. No really I tell you. bruce lee knows I am all man.

I agree with Miles, Pac has taken it too far. I don't know why he didn't just take the test and the fight would have been over and done with by now and Mayweather would still be unbeaten.

Testing is not the only issue for Floyd. There's also glove size and pur$e, which he would still bitch about after they agreed on the drug testing part.

Floyd is doing his best to avoid Pac. Just like what he did to Cotto and Margarito.

If someone accuses somebody of something it's up to the accuser to prove it and not up to the accused.

If Mayweathers accusations go unchecked, then it will go on and on. It just happens that they did it to someone who has the financial resources to go on with a lawsuit. I hope this teaches all of those people involve a lesson.

Anyway, Manny already agreed to the drug test but wasn't given the opportunity to prove he's clean because the accuser did not want to fight.

I hope he gets it and then really gets it! later on too, if he doesn't fight him in the ring.
