Thread: Do You Like Mayweather?

Simple question, do you like the guy?

Overall, taking everything into account, do you like him. None of this "I like him as a boxer but not as a person" rubbish. In total, do you like him?

After watching last night for some reason I've realised I actually like him. Despite the fact he stooped to a new low.

I like him now more after seeing what a pug Ortiz is.

I do like watching him fight though, his skillset is amazing.

There's not much to like. Very skillful yes but he's never had fight I've wanted to watch again after it happened, a few decent ones like the destruction of gatti but generally his fights offer little entertainment value. Outside the ring he comes across like a complete helmet, talking like he did to own father and an old man on tv, assualting security guards, stealing from his ex, throwing money around like a tit while defaulting on loans and not paying his taxes, I could go on.

I don't personally know him. He seems like a bit of a cunt but still....

He didn't stoop to a new low. He fair-and-square knocked out a naive dope.

I like Mayorga as a fighter, but he's hardly Mr laid back, plus wasn't he up for raping some girl? I'm sure Jazzmerkin posted something about that. As a fighter I love the guy. Certainly more fun than that Mayweather oddball.

As a person he comes across as a dick though I think what we see is all an act to be honest. As a boxer though, I know he's not the most exciting but he does pretty much everything right and I enjoy watching him fight because it's an honour to watch him at work. IMO he is the most talented fighter on the planet by a long long way.

If you want to punish Mayweather you can do it simple - just stop being intrested in him at all. When nobody wants to hear about Mayweather the Money Boy is actually knocked out from media and hype is over. In reality he's is a very good boxer but very boring indeed. He doesn't have charisma like Muhammad Ali once had. He can't bragg with sense of beautiness like Ali. Mayweather is just like another Carl Lewis, the athletic from 1980's. Just sweet commercial bullshit.
