Default The moment Ortiz lost the fight...the weigh in.

This was something off of Yahoo sports writer Kevin Iole...

"In my mind, Ortiz lost the fight at the weigh-in Friday when Mayweather reached over and put his hands on Ortiz’s neck. Ortiz took it and did not react. He shouldn’t have started a fight there, but he should at least have knocked Mayweather’s hand away. By doing nothing, it was a clear sign of intimidation and you can bet that Mayweather noticed it."

I remember thinking why didnt Ortiz do anything from that, but Kevin said it perfectly. Didnt anyone else notice that?

He lost the fight in the ring via a two punch combination which although classless where legal.

The whole weigh in drama is always overrated amongst us fans as being the decider in fights.

Obviously speaking figuratively not literally, but I think there is some logic to that as it does speak to the mentality of the fighters. Do you think Manny would do that to other fighters? I doubt he does that to Hatton, Marquez, Mosely or alot of other fighters he's faced.
