Default Kell Brook v Rafal Jackiewicz tonight

Thought Brooks last outing against Lovemore N'dou was a great learning fight for him and he acquitted himself well. Has anyone seen Jackiewicz fight? Reading through the lines it seems no one has floored the Pole and Kell may have his hands full. Despite this I think Brook raises his game and is the first to stop him. I hope he can continue to progress and if he is successful then am intrigued to see who Brook fights next?

Here's a stream incase any of you need it..

    Boxing Guru UK

    starting in 25 minutes..

Brook UD.. Jackie isn't extraordinary at anything but he does have a solid beard and a high guard.. Brook I dont view as a puncher despite his record and i expect to see him outwork jackie to a UD..

I agree Brook is not a massive puncher but he is starting to become relentless and accurate, once he starts landing i think the accumulative effect will drop Jackiewicz around round 9 or 10.

I think this is about the 5th "world title eliminator" Brook has been in. Every fight seems to be a playoff for a title shot.

Unless you actually look into the Jackiewicz record, his straight up stats look none too impressive, but he's been matched very tough, and has lost once in the last few years, so should provide a decent challenge. Hopefully, someone will be kind enough to post a few updates on the bout, as the internet here not really up to hanging to a stream of the fight.

Easy nights work for Brook, was very disappointed in Jackiewicz didnt do an awful lot.

Lol at the commentators Brook has put himself in line for a shot at Manny or Floyd, he is no where near there level and it would be a big miss match.

He can only fight whoever is put in front of him and he completed the job in hand with style tonight. There was a round earl on where Jackiewicz didn't land a single punch. The commentators i heard agreed he was not ready for Mayweather or Pacman but deserves a fight with Berto or Ortiz soon, and on tonight's performance a boost up the world rankings at the very least would seem fair.

Brook looked fast, sharp and powerful definitely but i won't be getting too excited about him until i see someone throwing punches back and making a fight of it.

He did what he had to do tonight and he looked good doing it but need to see him in with a live top 10 contender, his last to fights now have been against a 40year old (think N'dou was 40 anyway lol) and 34 year old.

The stoppage was premature. Based on the flow of the fight though, Jackie wasn't going to survive 12 rounds anyway but he still should have been given a chance..

I agree with that, the crowd and fans watching at home want to see some action before you call it off and turn what was an impressive performance into a bit of a damp squib come the end. Wave it off as soon as there is a knockdown or he gets properly wobbled or something at least. Dude wasnt even hurt. He didnt help himself in not throwing punches though did he. Just throw a few and its never getting stopped there.

Brook needs to fight Senchenko next. He has the WBA strap and hes a bit shite despite his 32-0 record, Kell would eat him for Special K (Breakfast). A 'world title' might just be enough to entice Khan into a lucrative summer blockbuster in 2012.

I though Kell was going to fight Mike Jones, that would be a good fight.

Agreed. He is not much of an attraction for khan without a title. I think he needs to take on someone in the top ten before he deserves a shot at Khan, Ortiz or Berto.
I think Khan is too good for him, but when your against Khan you only need one perfect punch so you never know.
