I've seen Judah do that to Corley. Mayweather do that to Judah and W.Klitschko do that to Chris Byrd. I'm sure there a hundreds of thousands of other examples though.

it's a fucking southpaw fighting an orthodox fighter, it's not the first or last time that it happens when both guys are try to get a dominate footing position on the same side, PSL learn a little about boxing before you cry wolf

Me and my mate noticed that, seemed to happen more than usual. It must have for us to actually notice it.

I know they both wanted to get the foot outside, but it seemed Marquez was on his toes a lot. I just thought it was one of those things. Coincidence that we noticed it for that fight.

Maybe it did happen more than the usual for southpaw vs authadox fighters, but it's not something I ever really pay attention to!

like i said, there's plenty video footage of both men doing it, and it only happened because it was lefty vs righty, neither guy did it with the intention of cheating or anything remotely close

Just saw this on the news here in the philippines. Definitely being blown out of proportion. Got into an argument with some coworkers the other day who were adamant that jmm is one dirty fighter for "deliberately" stepping on manny's foot. Couldn't take it and tried hard to explain to them shit like that happens in the ring more so when a lefty and an orthodox fighter are involved. Even used exaggerated hand and foot gestures just to drive my point home. Eventually I gave up. Can't compete with 3 guys who obviously had too much caffeine in their system.

This is on the news in the Philippines? What a stupid whack job news service they have then. It's a routine thing that happens in a fight with a southpaw and and a razor sharp orthodox fighter. And for people to even be suggesting it as a method for cheating is a serious sign of being retarded.

The lengths some will go to cover up a clear and obvious loss. Wankers.
