Thread: Worst decision of the year (Chisora-Helenius)

Astounding, disgusting, pathetic, corrupt, horrid decision !

I had Chisora winning 10-2, but could have easily given him every round.

Hard to believe he lost to a bum like Tyson Fury, but apparently he weighed 20 lbs more for that fight.

This was possibly a once in a lifetime victory and performance for Chisora, it was his Buster Douglas moment and the judges absolutely robbed him of it.

I could not agree more. It was sickening. Helenius cannot fight on the inside worth a shit and got beaten up and outworked all night long.

Disgusting.

Hopefully this will get a lot of attention. Robbery is a word used A LOT on boxing forums, but here it is completely justified. I had it 9-3 and counted 7 clear definite Chisora rounds along the way. 5 were closeish and I dont care much for which way you scored them, either way Chisora wins.

I would be very interested to hear if ANYONE had Helenius winning the fight on this forum and if so, could they put their card round by round up, so we can dissect it. Is there anyone though?

I had it 9-3 Chisora. I could made see 8-4 or even 7-5 if you were trying to give Helenius every round he could have possibly won, giving him the fight is just larceny.

That was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen. All the people crying about Pacquiao - Marquez III being a robbery need to take a look at this fight to see what a real robbery looks like.

Wow i got to see this, it seems like another Lewis/Holyfield 1. And by the way Hulk Chisora was ridiculously out of shape vs Fury. And he still had him hurt and troubled at times, an inshape Chisora beats Fury IMO.

I mean he brings it. At least he did against Helenius.

And yes, you have to watch this shit. It is a travesty and total injustice.

Havent seen it, but Chisora was suppose to have boxed the best fight he has ever fought. Landing plenty to the body and working really hard.

The only was to stop these farce decisions is to scrap the judges we have currently and have the organisation in charge (WBA etc) appoint their own judges.

Chisora fought really well. Won the fight clearly!! The closest it could have been scored would be 7-5 but there's probably more arguement for 12-0!!

I hope he keeps himself in good condition and continues to perform like this!!

I read this was a horrible robbery but after reading saddo poster's thoughts on it, now I need to go watch it for myself. Geez. Heard the referee was piss poor too. Same referee as Williams/Martinez I.

The ref was just an annoying bitchy little fat pant load. He was harmless though, other than breaking them up a bit early.

The fat shit must have warned Chisora a dozen times for various nonsense infractions, but didn't take any points.

He was comical more than anything.

He was trying to break chisoras flow but as soon as the ref stopped complaining chisora was back on him again. One thing that got on my nerves was when Helanius held his left hand and chisora punched him with the right, the ref told Chisora off. Watch the fight again and the ref didnt tell Helanius off once. Very dodgy.
I am glad to see you all agree that chisora won. The hometown fans were glad to see Helanius won.
If my fighter lost that badly to someone I would not be cheering. I would be pi55ed with them for a poor performance. So much for Helanius being the next hope to defeat the Klitchkos. What a joke.
