I'm not, I can't stand Ward, and in my book he'll never be a "superstar" (except in his own mind)

One can only imagine how much the Brits would be overrating Froch had it gone the other way. Look how much you all were overrating him before the fight even happened.

I've yet to hear a single person say Ward is as good as Mayweather, btw. Straw man.

Floyd and ward dont belong in the same sentence..

Ward is has a style that works but he's not exciting at all . Hes not a superstar material.

    Let's look elsewhere..

Well I strongly disagree with you guys, I feel like Ward has superstar written all over him. He's a humble kid with great boxing skills, sure he's not mayweather but he's on his way. He is without doubt the king of the middleweight tourny. This kid IMO will do great things. He already has Froch, Abraham, Bika, Green, Kessler (the tournys fav) miranda under his belt.. And he's still a young fighter at 27 would love to see him take out Bute now.

Froch as awkward as he is and looks is prob the most likely to ever beat ward in all fareness, he strength and tough roughness did him very well. If froch had a better inside game I honestly think he would have beat him.
People say froch got best easy but he didn't, he hit ward plenty with soft punches and alot of body shots.
I thought it was a good fight and ward is now the man and will become #1 p4p and that means froch is fucking good

Aren't you the blind man who gave Froch 5 rounds? Apologies if I've got the wrong guy.

It was an 11-1 or a 10-2 fight. Pretty dominant, IMO; and not clear that Froch is even the best opponent that Ward has faced (may be Kessler).

You and those two judges. Like every boxing writer and everyone on this forum (besides you) agrees. Read around a bit - no one else thinks those cards were halfway sane.

There's nothing overrated about wards performance, it was fully clinical and he deserves to claim the number one spot. Nobody has beaten Froch convincgly and I seriously think Ward will continue winning the big fights. Reading Glen McCrory's comments on sky sports you really do have to agree with what he is saying about how good actually Ward was is and his adivce to Khan about how well he handled Froch, a truely professional and dominant performance, he talked about Khan wanting to prove about his chin and showboating and how it was unnecessary at the world level, you do have to agree with what he says and Khan has proven his chin, heneeds to take a leaf out of Wards book and what he did on the night. the peformance that he did last night was sensational and he really proved he was the best in the weight last night. I'm looking forward to seeing ward, he really is good.

Ward may be P4P #1 when Pac and Floyd retire. He's a huge talent imo

Ward is very good, and great at executing his gameplan. He's fast, smart in there, good defensively and has a good jab.

He's also a headbutter and one of the dirtiest fighters in boxing.

And he doesn't have one punch power, and probably never will.

That adds up to him not being all that exciting, and a bit of a spoiler in the same vain as Winky Wright.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

I don't have the same nationalistic blindness as you, my friend. American judges get it wrong plenty of times, including this time. Pretty sure American judges were the ones who gifted the Lara fight to Paul Williams too. Not sure if you think you're scoring points with that comment or "just having a laugh" as you say over there.

The British judge got it just about right -- slightly generous.
