It is brilliant, great work by a great photographer/artist, if you have no talent you don't do shit. Bottom line is obviously quite a lot of people care or he wouldn't be exhibiting with another bunch of really talented photographers. You don't have to like it but you can't dismiss the ability of someone who has quite clearly created something new.

I think they are just models and willing participants in the creation of work, that to me is both funny and strangely profound. The photographer/artist is clearly commenting on the commodification of the human experience on both a physical and existential level. The repositioning of the human form as an item of shrink wrapped produce, is further re postulated with the addition of a partner, so that the meditation encompasses an examination of the relationship between participants, artist and viewer.

Are we ourselves complicit in the dangerous denial of oxygen for the figures entwined? A semiotician like Umberto Eco would have a field day dissecting the cultural significance of this artistic communication and it's psychological ramifications.
