Now, for what it's worth, I don't think there is any link between intelligence and political beliefs. I've seen incredibly stupid/smart with beliefs from all over the political spectrum.

But I do not accept that this "study" links low IQ with "Right-Wing" beliefs. It says people with low IQ are more apt to be racists and homophobes. Are you telling me there aren't any racists or homophobes on the left A party who's leaders have said "Back in the day Barack Obama would have be bringing us coffee" - Bill Clinton to Ted Kennedy and "That's a shame Barney, you would have been a good Speaker" - Tip O'Neill to Barney Frank.

Also I find it difficult to believe that study because if we're to believe that minorities are poor and because they are poor they aren't as smart as white protestant males....then the MINORITIES would be the most racist and homophobic people in the world and they would vote as such....they vote liberal. That would also mean that guys like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and that jackass Louis Farrakhan are all racists, though I've believed that for years and with good reason...if racism doesn't exist then they have no purpose in life, no reason to extort money from legit companies, or ask for support from the members of their community. In short they would all be dirt poor.

But that's just my view of the whole thing, I'm pragmatic when it comes to politics....I swear if the Republicans nominate Gingrich I may volunteer to help colonize the Moon so I won't be subject to Newt or God forbid another 4 years of the dumbass we have right now.

Isn't making the sweeping claim that "lower intelligence children are more likely to grow up prejudice" actually a pretty prejudicial statement to make?

I guess the investigators were low intelligent children once.

There is no way they will nominate Gingrich. They know that Romney is their only hope.

Obviously, I can't stand Romney, but I can see how he would appeal to many Americans.

How do you think he would stand up to the type of withering smear campaign like the one launched against John Kerry?

I'd think him being a Mormon would leave him open to all kinds of attacks and I have a feeling the upcoming Presidential race will be a nasty one..

Obama is a nasty fucker when it comes to attacking his opponents, he's from Chicago that's what they do.
