Thread: On my way to Barcelona

I am currently on a train travelling to Gatwick airport, from whence I shall travel onward to Barcelona. I am going there with my other half to celebrate her Birthday. I shall be posting regular updates from my phone in order to bore the krap out of most of you and to alleviate the boredom of travelling on my part. If I am boring you already then imagine how my missis feels after year upon relentless year of me wittering on. That is all.........for now......FACT......job biscuit eh eh, and various other probably copyrighted sign offs.

Lucky prick ,I love Barcelona , keep your items buried deep in those pockets though mate and no hand bags on show specially down lower than the fish markets or Barrio gothic .

Have lots of fun.

Try some Caltalan food at the oldest restaurant , Los Caracoles.
Or Spain meets France at El Gran Cafe.

Love Barcelona and it's one of my fave European cities..!!

Check out Salsitas restaurant if you can and like Andre said keep an eye on your bags/handbags especially at the airport ... Bag theiving is pretty much a national sport their

We are staying below Barrio Gothic but we come from a dodgy port and so know how to keep our wits about us. Unlike wussy Aussies we don't need to carry around a hunting knife tho. If your brave enough to cross my missis I figure you can have my wallet:-)

Cheers guys there are so many great places to eat and we are only here for 3 days but I will have a quick shufti at your recommendations. I have left my handbag at home but will warn the missis to keep an eye on her man bag. Not our first time here, but first time in Feb. A bit crisp but still warmer than the UK. Local football team is a bit shit though.
