Cloud would lose a rematch with Campillo, and get schooled by Hopkins and/or Dawson.

I said before the fight that Dawson and Hopkins would both beat Cloud by wide margins. Definitely sticking by that.
He should give Campillo a rematch, obviously, but he won't. I had thought that Pascal/Cloud would be a competitive fight previously but I'm no longer sure about that. I'd definitely favor Pascal at this point. I'd favor Andre Ward over Cloud by a wide margin if he moved up as well.
Cloud/Froch might be a good fight.
hopkins is old as dirt. He could fall off a cliff overnight.
Dawson should be able to jab, straight left, and then turn Cloud all night. Cloud would have to get to Dawson in the first couple of rounds and hurt Dawson.
No!
First off, he should give Campillo a rematch. If that doesn't happen, then I wouldn't mind seeing him in with Pascal or Shumenov. Sillakh also..but he's more of a high risk low reward fighter...so I doubt that happens any time soon.
And to answer the thread question - No
Cloud really underestimated Campillo's ability, and another part of the problem the 5' 10" Cloud was having, was dealing with a bigger man, the 6' 2" Campillio looked huge in there. Cloud would have almost same height disadvantage against Hop or Dawson, plus they're technically much better.
As for Cloud vs. Pascal, they'd be more evenly matched, but at this point i'd favor Pascal.
Yes, I still have faith in Cloud. He got caught looking past the guy, its not like he's ALWAYS looked poor vs boxers.
Dawson seems to me to be soft...but maybe that's just my view of the guy.
I think Dawson would beat Cloud as easily as he did Diaconu. I've never been impressed watching him. He beat an ageing, past his prime Clinton Woods in a very competitive fight after Woods got dominated by Antonio Tarver. Then he won another close fight against Glen Johnson whose job is to lose against name fighters.
Since then he's fought average opposition and with the exception of Mack who gets knocked out by everybody decent he hasn't looked like stopping anybody, (first round with Campillo aside).
He's a poor man's Jeff Lacy imo.
I'd love to see Cleverly fight him. It would be the fight he needs to launch himself on the world stage and show the world that another great man has emerged from Wales.
