    Default Sonnen vs Silva II

Lots of hype on this. I think Chael's wrestling, chin and ability to apply constant pressure makes him a hard out for Anderson but I just have the feeling that Anderson will be at his absolute best. I'm leaning towards Anderson coming out on fire and getting a 1-2 round TKO. Chael is going to have to make this even more of a grind to get a decision. I just don't see him being able to finish Anderson. Much like last time the fight will turn on Chael's ability to score takedowns. If he can get 1-3 legit takedowns a round and score while on top he can win it but like I said I think the Spider comes out swinging for a early TKO.

Rarely does an mma fight get me looking forward to it, but this is one of them. I was at a buds for a get together for the first fight and only being a casual observer had never even heard of sonnen and thought it be another walk in the park for silva...I think sonnen might just have a style that gives silva fits, either sonnen gets a decision or silva by ktfo can't really pick it. Glad this is on tho cause tonights boxing is robably a couple mismatches....

ya but he shouldn't have. Tito deserved the win, and I dislike him much.

Yes Tito won that fight. Everyone at the house I watched the fight at thought Tito had won, including my brother who was going for Forrest.

I guess it all comes down to how you score the 1st round, as it was close while the 2nd and 3rd were clear cut rounds for Forrest and Tito respectively.

Griffin always gets close decisions tho...

Anyway that was an anti climatic finish to the Silva-Sonnen fight as Sonnen pulled a Hatton a la Mayweather running his own head into the steel then just sat there and waited for Silva to finish him.

Bit of an early stoppage but Sonnen wasn't intelligently defending himself really or advancing position at all to get to his feet or take Silva down.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Missed it all together. Was busy watching a bloated super star go 12 rounds trying to be Ernie Shavers. Sounds similiar to first two, these dudes have to be staples of the sport. Same as boxing I wonder how hard judges, crowd lean to a guy who has announced his retire prior to the bout though.

Anderson and Chael both lost in this fight. Chael lost the fight and Anderson lost some respect with the fans. Anderson is supposed to be the best MMA fighter ever, and you see him rubbing Vaseline on himself and holding Chael's trunks. Did the
cheating matter? Don't think so! I sure didn't like seeing it, though!

Seems someone fell into the Sonnen hype.

If it wasn't for him opening his mouth late in his career and his TRT, you would still see him getting subbed by guys like Renato and Paulo to name two.

Chael got a bone when Fliho was drugged out of his mind.

Okami, Miller, Marquartd, Stann, Filho thats not hype. Throwing Anderson around on his ass for 4 rounds isn't hype.

If you want over hyped check out Brock Lesnars mma career.
