I didnt read the article but from what I hear as a catholic born in the Philippines, when a man decides to change his sinful ways and picks up the bible to preach. God will throw all sorts of challenges towards that man. Pac losing a controversial decision to bradley and then getting ktfo by his long time rival signals the rough detour pac is force to face. All he can do is continue to be strong because he will need to, to prove he is commited to God. So far he is facing his defeats and tough times well.

Pacs faith isnt an excuse though, jmm threw that perfect punch and not God.
