He won the first 3 fights with Pac, he beat Norwood and he beat Chris John.

He only ever lost to Floyd Mayweather after stepping up 2 weight divisions to fight an ATG already established with 5 fights at that weight

JMM has only lost one argubly, Mayweather has lost one or two arguably, Pac between 6-8 its all opinion, but is very interesting!! Cotto lost to hand wrapsarito and Pac who alot of people say was on peds... oh but was marquez for this one... Boxing is crazy!!! haha

None of the above are my opinions either way just saying the general points of view from a substantial segment of boxing fans!

i thought the pac marquez results were right

Carl Froch is however unbeaten

He was on the end of a clear hometown decision against kes and ward should have been DQ'd by the 6th for all the holding

ha, although my comment was tongue in cheek, theres little point in replying to your post as it obvious you you have a very objective opinion on the matter

Juan Manuel Marquez : Boxer

Chris John challenge JMM for a fight at lightweight. I would like to see JMM avenge that loss. John is still undefeated but not be much of a money draw in the states. And I know JMM won't go back to his John's hometown.

JMM one lost, is the one opponent he don't want to fight. Not the right fight for him off a great win. But who else would he train so hard for to fight?

5. Amir Khan(should he win)

I scored the Chris John fight for John. I also scored one of the Pac fights for Pac and one a draw. I would argue that he has lost three fights. However, considering that all three losses come against future HOF's, it ain't too shabby.

Prior to retiring, I would love to see Marquez against Bradley or another top welter/junior welterweight. I think Tim Bradley beats him.

nope he didnt clearly lose to kessler

it was a very close fight

Julian wheeler was robbed style wise, I think he and Guerrero would be fun. All kinds of options really. It's funny. I remember a couple saying he was taking Pac 4 because he had no others. Oops on that now.

A couple fights back I would have loved a Bradley v Marquez. I really like the guy. But I think Tim needs to redeem himself a bit, more so now that Manny just got Totem polled in his following fight. I can't see Bradley beating him tomorrow. He is just to stuck in between styles and doesn't maintain a busy pace, tires late, that he'd need for Marquez..not to mention not exactly a heavy hitter.

I 100% agree. Not to mention Mayweather still had to come over the agree upon weight
