This one has gone under the radar. Decent middleweight fight on ESPN next year and should be a good one. Did Martinez take all the fight out of Dzinziruk because I thought he was a decent fighter before that one but he got taken apart and has struggled to recover. Vera is a decent puncher with absolutely no defence at all so Dzinziruk will have to go back to being clever or he'll probably have the fight beaten out of him again.

Nah I don't think its took all the fight outa him, and in his return bout he was supposd to be the opponent to make some prospect look good. The other guy came in ridicileously overweight and outweighed dzin somethin like fifteen pounds fight night, he got a draw but if I remember right dzin deserved the decision.

I remember that fight, against the overweight Puerto Rican prospect. Dzinziruk looked terrible in that fight, but then again he was coming off a long layoff (after losing to Martinez). I thought he lost that fight but luckily ended up getting a draw. Looking forward to seeing how he does against Vera though.

I'll be rooting for Vera in this one. Gotta love the guy, he's all heart and brings it every time. He recently beat Mora a second time, who is a tricky fighter himself, so I think Vera has a real chance of beating Dizzy Dick as well.

Vera may be slower and more crude, but he is the larger man and just keeps coming.

Very underrated fight here.
I think Dzin with Barker, Murray or Macklin could
Make very interesting fights.

Is this fight at junior middleweight? I've always thought Dzinziruk was a solid junior middleweight. At his best, I can see him beating a number of the top guys.

This is a solid, solid crossroads fight for ESPN FNF. Dizzy has a razor sharp jab and is a technically sound boxer. But Vera has that durability and grit he grinds down pressure on his opponents. Can go either way but both are desperate for a victory.

No it's a 10 round Middleweight contest.
