Good to hear, to bad lebedev wasted his 2011 fighting washeedup legends but I guess he made more money doing that. Chambers at cruiser should do well even against adamek at heavy he didn't look like a heavy, just hope the weight drop doesn't go bad like it did for byrd a few years back.

great styles match-up of boxer versus puncher.

This is a very bad style match-up for Denis.

Chambers will just run, block and counterpunch. Lebedev does better against fighters who come forward.

I agree. Chambers will use his superior boxing ability and his long reach to outbox Lebedev.

Surprised that Chambers can make cruiserweight, remember Chris Byrd and James Toney tried to do the same and that ultimately did not end well. It must be harder to come down that go up.

but those guys were at the end of their careers when they tried to drop weight. desperation.
chambers is still young. he should be able to do it.

All Chambers should have to do is get into proper shape and he would be a cruiser, he is soft and flabby at whatever he usually weighs in so far. I think as long as dropping weight isn't a problem he should take this one pretty handily, good match up though.

Chambers seems to buckle against any top fighter recently.

Agree. I'm a big fan of Chambers but I'd say this wil take place in Russia and will be very hard to get a decision

Yes my amigo, but Byrd was crazy and dropped all the way down to light heavyweight ! That was too much, especially at such a late age for a fighter.

Plus Byrd was pretty fit at hw, where as Chambers has always been a bit chubby.
