Surprise at result.. 2 - not surprised much at all, Rigo is a class fighter
Skill level of Rigo....7 - i think he can do better
Skill level of Donaire ....2 - very disappointed here
Interest in rematch...5 - Donaire could fight a better fight I think so would be good to see again
Overall excitement...5 - i enjoyed it. The KD in rd 10 added to the excitement but sissled down again. The fight went more or less as I though with 2 very cagey fighters at the start. I was expecting a big finish from Donaire so was a bit of an anti climax

My ratings above. As has happened on many ocassions, I was surprised at Nonito's inability to adjust mid-fight to what was happening. All too often fighters wait until the 10th or 11th round to try and seize the momentum by being more aggresive. Nonito just couldn't figure Rigo out. Also... Nonito's corner must've been hallucinating when he said he thought the fight was 3-3 halfway through.

Its hilarious to me that Garcia spent his time with Rios who never changed a lick in the second Alvarado fight and supposedly trained Donaire by phone. At this level wtf!? Its still Donaires fault for believing in his own hype and possibly believing he did not need a trainer in camp.

I'm just going to give my overall rating because I don't care enough to break anything down.

3/10. At best. I know Rigo has a ton of skill, but - to echo Dan Rafael, I don't like to watch dull fights where one guy essentially runs, pot-shots, and refuses to engage. It's boring.

Was not boring to me at all and Fat Dan is an idiot gossip reporter who has no clue about actual boxing. According to him if its not in a phone booth ending with a highlight reel ko its not a boxing match. He's a pin head if he thought Rigo was going to stand there and give Donaire a chance to land the power shot he wanted to from the opening bell. This is boxing 101 shit. Rigo fought a tactical smart fight. He boxed and moved and stayed out of harms way while schooling his opponent using pugilistic skill and ring smarts.

Id rate it 7/10 cause I like evasion that makes bigger fighters look stupid.

I cant wait to see my parents who are in their eighties and give them this fight to watch.

They watch more fights than all of you (cause they got the time too) and have racked up more than most in their many years, they love all kinds of boxing so it will be interesting,Ill keep you posted on that one, Im handing it to them on Tuesday and not saying a word.

That was nice to hear about your parents. Both my parents are long gone, and neither were fight fans, but I would have loved to introduce them to an iPhone or an iPad.

U shouldnt watch a fight on Mute, sometimes hearing the punch land tells you more then seeing the punch. Possibly a reason for your dodgy scorecards

I should say I wasn't surprised to see Rigo win, because I knew he was gonna be a tough fight for Donaire regardless of his pro experience, but I am surprised at how easily he did win.

Skill level of Rigo....8 yes he is very skilled and fast but content on landing that counter left hand.
Skill level of Donaire ....5 as Donaire should have adjusted and put more educated pressure and forced Rigo to engage and get out of his comfort zone.
Interest in rematch...1 do not want to see that fight again ever.
Overall excitement...5 I was not inteested at first but found out it was on free so became interested in it. 2 top fighters unifying titles is a good thing.
Boxing commentary...5 it may have persuaded me to support Donaire.
