Default It's official Vic has lost his mind!

"I want to fight Donaire. I deserve the chance to fight him before a glass jawed bum like Rigondeux," said Darchinyan, coming off an impressive win over Luis Orlando Del Valle in September on HBO. "Who is Rigondeux to be even in the same ring as Nonito? He's done nothing, he fights bums and his jaw is like an egg shell.

Vic's comments before the Donaire V Rigondeaux fight, he might get his chance to test out that 'glass' jaw this year if he can actually catch Rigo in the ring? Until then he can wipe that eggshell off his own face.

Rigondeuax wins a UD in any fight with Vic.

Yeah Vic fights old style off center but comes off a touch one sided or even one dimensional from over doing it.

I've never understood how a guy thinks that by berating and dismissing a fighter who just clowned his own conqueror he comes close to validating or making his case.

Proof Donaire really can punch I spose...and I've actually come to like Vic the crab

Yeah well when you lead with your face a foot and a half in front of the body you are kinda sticking your head out. Go ahead and be unorthodox and weird but he needs to work on that flaw. Or I suppose he could make no counter punchers as part of his contract.

If Vic fights Rigo then he will be punching thin air all night, if Donaire couldn't land a big shot then i can't see Vic the praying mantis landing one?

He would literally be tripping over his own feet, and ego.

I'm a fan of Vic, but Rigo would KO him. I see no way it would go 12 rounds in this fight and Vic can't touch Rigo

    Puncher's chance.

Y'know, a puncher like Tyson or Hearns, they had much more skills to bring to the dance.
A puncher's chance is what makes Boxing unlike any other sport. No matter how far you're down, unlike other sports, 1 stroke can win it no matter what the deficit.
I wouldn't bet on Vic though, and neither do I think this match would be exciting nor worth the money. One guy coming ahead all night with ineffective aggression, and the other guy's stinky style stinks out the joint but wins every rd on points.

More than a few of us underrated and dismissed Rigondeaux before the Donaire fight, so I'm not going to be laughing and pointing a finger at
Darchinyan for saying what he thought when I was thinking pretty much the same thing.

Just to confirm he has completely lost his mind, he officially sold his soul to Arum...

I say Rigo stops Darchinyan late.

This is true. While I gave Rigo a small chance to maybe pull an upset due to his superior boxing skills, I had big doubts about whether he could handle Donaire's punching power for 12 rounds.

Never thought he would dominate Donaire like he did.

That means Vic will be fighting Rigo or maybe even Donaire in the not too distant future.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
