    Default Nobody beats George Foreman

Ali did the rope a dope. Whuppeee. He pissed blood for weeks thereafter, and 1 kidney seriously contused. Use your body as a human punching bag until the other guy can't punch anymore or burns up all his energy. Whuppeee.

Rematch woulda been different friends. Foreman's jab was a terrible weapon and he could win a fight just jabbing even in his comeback. Foreman could pump 30 or 40 jabs per round and just pot shot Ali maybe 3 or 4 power shots per round, saving his energy and not chasing him into the corners. Ali cannot fight toe to toe. He HAS to back up, he cannot stand there. A smarter Foreman woulda won. Foreman beat Foreman that night, not so much Ali beat Foreman.

Tyson was scared shitless to fight a 1990 Foreman. George woulda beat Tyson in 1990 in 4 rounds tops. Decapitated. Imagine Tyson rushing in and George getting it dished to him right on a silver platter, just like in '73 in Kingston, jamaica.

Right served up on a silver platter--here is Mike's head, here is George's uppercuts.

    LIGHTS OUT, MIKE.

damn Ali must have really fucked your mom good cause all you do is bitch and moan about his accomplishments and try discrediting him while building up the man who just fought lunchboxes and shells of great fighters

and in response to this thread, YOU DO KNOW GEORGE FOREMAN IS THE ONE WHO DIDN'T WANT A REMATCH, RIGHT? in his own words "Ali whooped me like a red headed step child", watch the Ali and Me documentary

George certainly said with his experience that he has now he would have fought the fight differently by pacing himself and using his jab. However Ali would have found a way to win because he is an ATG and that’s what ATG do, they dig deep and find a way to win. Look at Rocky, Leonard and Robinson they all did it.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Gee, ElTerribleMorales, that is such a profound and diplomatic manner of interacting with others, I am frankly really impressed beyond words. Could you teach me and some of us others may really wish to partake---the way in which to learn from you so that we, too, might reach your level of eloquence, erudition, and abstruse self-expression? I would be willing to pay up to 10 quid per hour, snacks not included.

and are you saying, in your own unique style , that Mr. Marshall Texas fought lunchboxes? Ron Lyle, George Chuvalo, Joe Frazier twice, Muhammad ali, these are lunchboxes to you? Pray, do tell.

I wasn't referring to Big George when I said the man who just fought lunch boxes, I was referring to your idol and the 2nd best fighter to come from Brockton, MA, in Marciano, the best being Hagler, you complain bout Lyle, but sorry you take the cake

He didn't beat Schultz in a month of Sundays. Never watched the Morrison fight but he beat Briggs I'll give you that.

Thought Morrison did well to win it, though far from the slugger. Big gap between scared and fighting smart. Briggs lost clearly. Might add Alex Stewart to that list if he would have pressed a round. Georges face looked like someone tied a sack of feral cats over his head.

So quite a lot of people beat George then.
