A brilliant piece from a good writer Mike Casey. It touches on fights with Holman Williams, Tony Zale, Jake Lamotta, Harold Green, Georgie Abrams, Anton Raadik & Cyrille Delannoit.
An interesting quote stating he would have beat Hagler
There are also vid's for Cerdan at the bottom of both pages of this & the article link belowI tell you now, with utter conviction, that Marcel Cerdan would have given any middleweight in history the fight of his life and would have won most head-to-head battles with his fellow greats. I certainly believe that he would have been too clever, too rugged and too hard hitting for the likes of Dick Tiger, Marvin Hagler and Bernard Hopkins. There is little doubt in my mind that Marcel would have beaten Tony Zale at any time in Tony’s career.
