    Default Mayweather-Cotto II

How would Cotto with Roach in his corner do against Floyd in a rematch?

Roach said if he was in Cottos corner during the Mayweather fight Cotto would have won. I don't know, I suspect the results would be the same. Seeing how Cotto progresses in his comeback will be interesting but if we were going to start seeing Floyd rematches I would prefer JMM.

I know i'm in the minority but I think the first fight was a draw and it is without doubt flloyds toughest fight since castillo - rematch I say!

P.s. not anti flloyd bias, I had money on flloyd to put cotto away within 7 rounds!

With Floyd Sr in MM corner, the fight might look just like the Canelo fight. Floyd Made that first fight interesting by fight within Cotto's range. A 2nd fight, Floyd would still be to fast and elusive.

The 1st fight wasn't even close why would there be a rematch cause cotto just stopped a bumb. Floyds beats him easy again,if floyds to have any rematches make it against Marquez but I'm sure I read Marquez said he's not interested in fighting floyd again

ok, so why would he rematch Marquez which wasn't competetive at all? and not rematch Cotto who gave him his toughest fight? don't get your logic at all

Because Marquez is the only fighter to have went on to be succsessful after fighting floyd usually after someone gets owned by floyd they go downhill but Marquez has got better so if anyone is due a rematch it's him. Also cotto is done and the fight wasn't remotely close if cotto wants a rematch it's for the payday cotto and everyone else knows he has zero chance

how? he beat a guy he's already beaten 3 times before, Mayweather's last 2 opponents haven't gone on to fight again, and Mayweather has never ruined a fighter unless you want to well count Hatton, which would well be reaching a bit, IMO Mayweather shouldn't rematch either, but it makes zero sense that Mayweather should rematch a guy who he pitched a shut out against after nearly a 2 yr layoff whom he could have KO'd at any point and not rematch the guy who's given him his toughest fight, Mayweather should either fight the Pacquiao/Rios winner, Broner/Maidana winner, or even someone like Lara or Trout

Guerrero hasn't fought since so you can't put him in that boat, same goes for Canelo

Castillo went onto his prime and best run after his losses to Floyd, Diego Corrales had a good run after his loss to Floyd, Jesus Chavez won a title afterwards, El Famoso Hernandez became El Salvador's first world champion after Floyd, hell Hatton still went on to have decent wins over Lazcano and Malignaggi

what young fighter did Floyd ever "ruin"?

A never said anything about age. Corrales he was not the same fighter after floyd, Castillo is questionable Chavez won a title lol who did he beat to win it and every decent fighter he thought after floyd beat him, hatton are you serious floyd ended his career and Hernandez I don't know much about him to comment. Also Canelo will struggle to bounce back after what floyd did to him Guerrero I didn't rate him much to begin with.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, Corrales really?! did you not see Corrales/Castillo?! Chavez put up a hell of a fight against Morales while Morales was looking damn near unstoppable, and he had wins over Hernandez (albeit IMO Hernandez won), and well every one knows what happened in the Johnson fight, Hatton did manage to brutalized Malignaggi who many feel gave Broner his toughest fight since De Leon, Castillo questionable?! he had back to back wins against Lazcano, Casamayor, and Diaz, your break down as to why Marquez deserves a rematch and your theory about Floyd "ruining" guys, especially guys like Canelo and Guerrero who haven't even fought since is funny

right, a two division champion, and one of the toughest bastards at that weight, you're retarded haha, Marquez hasn't done a damn thing to deserve a rematch nor does a rematch make sense, he's arguably already 4-0 against Pacquiao, he hasn't changed a damn thing he fights exactly the same and Mayweather will beat him just the same, no point in a rematch, his biggest moments since Mayweather? 2 more wins over the same fighter
