Watching him is painful.
He got couple of good fights with Miranda and Taylor
Now, he is clearly washed up

He brokeout out of nowhere after scoring a mild upset over kingsley Ikeke who was fairly high regarded at the time.. what really took off his career was when he beat miranda with a broken jaw.
After that, everbody started figuring out his game and it was only a matter of time.. he cant box, he only fights in one gear, and theres just no creativity in his approach..
Once u get past his power, he's nothing, and even the c level fighters are figuring thst out now.
Yup his lack of power at 168 is incredible. He's nailed the Italian and looks like he cant believe he's still standing. Then he gets flustered and fights like a guy in a tough man contest.
His best days are over. His best wins was against Miranda and a come from behind ko of Jermaine Taylor. But, he is clearly shot and should wind down. They are going to, most likely, give him another title shot before it's all said and done- he deserves it. He, at least, stays in shape and can give a good scrap... you have to respect that. Plus, he knows the game. That's key!

He's had a serious drop off over the last few years, that's for sure. Like most people, I became a big fan when he beat Miranda with his jaw literally hanging off his face. He was a brutal puncher but he just doesn't seem to have it anymore at 168
The luster has def fallen off but the stones he showed with Miranda were remarkable. That was a horror show.
I was a fan of abraham back when he was at middleweight..i found it very amusing the way he would do nothing for two and a half minutes a round and then spring to life and just knock people around and eventually ko them... he had some good power.. He never was that great but I liked watching him and he didnt step up to super middleweight very well at all... He was a very good euro level fighter and I enjoyed watching hsi fights a middleweight a few years back
True enough. He did show a set against Miranda the first go but he wanted to quit until Neumann gave him a break and explained that if he quit which he wanted to it would be called a tko. That fact that a plumber like him will retire with more cash then Joe Louis makes me want to puke.
He is a star in Germany only, he is very strong middleweight and a good right hand but I hate watching him.
