Thread: Kovalev-Fonfara in talks for early 14'

Does fonfara have anything that'll trouble kov?

I'd be a decent go and suspect they'll be looking to get Kovalev and Stevenson on a double bill. Fonfara is alright, but he's not hard to miss. I think he'll try to make it a jabbing contest early, stand too straight for too long and simply go to sleep. Kovalev has great variety on his right hand.

He'll get blasted out in a few rounds.

There aren't many Light-Heavyweights that could trouble Kovalev. Fonfara must suffer with insomnia which is why he's considering taking this fight.

Fonfara is a bit of a diamond in the ruff. Quietly getting himself into the top 5 of three of the four governing bodies. I'd like to know how they are going to pull this off though since a date is close to set for meeting Stevenson in April.

An ageing Glen Johnson gave Fonfara all he could handle with his come forward style not that long ago. Could be Syllakh mark 2.
