I know Roach is trying to talk shit about Ariza...but he is implicating his own fighter in the process

When and for how long was Ariza with Pac? 5 years!

Look at Pac's weight change in 2008 and beyond. Look at his list of larger opponents. Freddie just fucked Pac.

This is funny because Roach doesn't seem to realize what he's really saying here. He's clearly not too bright.

It can be interpreted as an implication but it isn't. He's simply saying he wanted to know if there was funny business, not that there was funny business.

The PED issue has swirled around Pac for quite some time. Whether Roach spoke without thinking or not...this does not make him or his fighter look good.

Wow, so they're scoffing at Mayweather's PED accusations, but meanwhile Pac's strength coach is giving him a drink and refusing to tell Manny's trainer what is in it? Yikes.

There is nothing new here folks. Ariza has said on many occasions that Roach didn't know what was in the shakes and even Manny didn't know. Is it possible something illegal was in them, sure. But that isn't the only reason not to say. Ask Conte what supplements he gives his guys since he supposedly has gone clean and he won't tell you either. Knowledge is power, if you have knowledge you have power. You don't just give that away.

As a Floyd fan I'm generally not on Mannys side but there is literally no new information here. It's just coming from a different person.

The new information is that Roach believes that Ariza is a cheat and in order to prove so he's chosen to cite the 5 years that he gave Pac an unknown drink that he thinks is shady and suspect. Roach is providing the new information. He previously denied that Pac could have been using PEDs but now he admits that he didn't know what Pac was taking and that he believes the guy that was administering it is a CHEATER. Thats alot of new info.

Freddys not that dumb. Fans will speculate all they want. It wont take the edge off Manny's ability to fill seats. You have to couple that info with a failed drug test(s) for it to grow legs and go anywhere. There weren't any. (whether you believe the NSAC testing regimen isn't strict enough is another issue) When they stated they werent taking the test to appease Floyd, it cant be proven they were afraid of being exposed (if they were doing something illegal) .. simply that that weren't going to let Floyd dictate the pace of negotiations and take Manny out of his comfort zone.

If people want to speculate it's far more damning that Ariza was fired the exact fight Manny decided to do random testing. Connecting that to Roachs belief he's shady means more than Roach not knowing what was in those drinks.

Roach is just getting his denials on the record early to try to shield his own reputation.

If and when Ariza gets caught for whatever he's doing, there's a very good chance that he'll out Pacquaio as a user. Roach knows this, so he wants to put out the story that he had no idea what was going on.

People in general will cheat if they can get away with it,! the rewards are great look at Lance
Armstrong, the thing is this is a problem in modern sports.

Large sums of money are involved, peoples judgement of right and wrong go down the pan, pressure to succeed to be a winner, you have make up your own mind weather you except

I'm not buying the argument that Roach is trying to save his reputation by revealing this info on Ariza because Pac is his legacy. Roach is just that short sighted.

Ariza kicked Roach in the chest, so they are not friends. But a trainer not knowing what is in his fighters system is bad. I know Toney got caught and he was working with him too.

I recently watched the Jennings/Liakovich fight during which Roach was commentating and his faculties are clearly leaving him now. The straight right left hooks he's taken throughout his life have caught up with him, it seems difficult for him to string a sentence together now.

He didn't expose anything about Pac we didn't already know.
