    Default NFL Playoffs

After the amazing Colts comeback last week, this week has some amazing matchups, and each one has the potential to be a classic.

Saints v Seahawks - Two great QBs, one already with a Superbowl ring, one who I expect will get one at some point in his career. I reckon being at home in an outdoor field gives the Seahawks the advantage here, plus having had an extra week to prepare. Wilson to shine, and Lynch picking up a couple of TDs in a competitive win for the Seahawks is my pick.

Colts v Patriots - The old master Brady has been working miracles with a limited receiving corps this year, and playing at Foxboro is always going to be useful. However, the Colts must be buzzing after last week's amazing win, and although they've been in mixed form, I am picking Andrew Luck to outthrow Brady and to send the Patriots to find some more weapons for Brady for next year.

Niners v Panthers - Two young QBs going at it, and made more interesting by Kaepernick having a slow start this year, but getting better as the season goes on. Newton is another QB I'd expect to have a ring on his finger before his career is out, and I reckon the Panthers get past the Niners here.

Chargers v Broncos - The game I'm looking forward to the most, with Rivers working miracles with his own limited receivers, but a great ground game with Matthews, Woodhead and Brown all chipping in, and Woodhead also great in the backfield. Manning however makes a good bunch of receivers great, and the Broncos have been in such good form its hard to look past them. But I think I will, Chargers win in a tough close game.

I love watching football but I really find the NFL to be an inferior product compared to CFB for entertainment value. I can appreciate the athleticism but I'd rank a good HS football game over the NFL for passion and entertainment.

Exciting finish though. All down to the onside kick. The onside kick made Sean Payton's reputation in the Superbowl, now we see if they can make it when the opposition know exactly what's coming.

The match-ups didn't turn out to be too exciting in the end.

That team has made a habit of adding grey hair this year, right down to the wire..again. I might be a sceptic but seeing a few clouds for next season..free agent talk with guys we cannot afford to lose..asking key assets in rb Thomas, wr Moore, Zach Strief and Harper to take paycuts in effort to retain Graham. Not impressed at all with Ingrahm, hes just finally fighting for yardage to stoke trade interest if ya ask me. He needs to "roll tide" his arse outta here. We have a closing window to repeat with Brees at the helm and losing those guys might just be the kicker. Lots of dealing to do!
