I know he's a polarizing figure, but he's 49 n still kicking ass.

His last fight be truly went for the KO against a bigger, stronger, younger, (less skillful) opponent.

If he beats Shumenov tonight, he will have 2 of the world titles at light heavy. It still won't make him THE champ as Adonis is IMO, but it'll be something special still.

He certainly is a dirty fighter and he can be ugly to watch. He has made dirty fighting into an art. Smoger let him get away with so much nonsense the last fight it was painful. There is a tendency for umps to give the great pitchers more leeway with the strike zone, I suppose that plays a part in what they do with Bhop but they let him get away with nastiness. Still, I have grown to dislike him so much I now like him, if that makes sense

I agree. Still rooting for the geezer! People say he's boring...ugly? I get that. But we can all run off a handful of spoon fed kids being handed belts who posture, time out rounds and fit the bill. He's earned the respect, and he is still damn skilled.

Well Hopkins won that is all that matters, doing it at the age of nearly 50 against top class fighters in the weight is truly remarkable.
