Thread: Bazooka Limon vs Boza Edwards

Good fight. These two, plus Bobby Chacon and Alexis Arguello made for some very hard fights in the late 70s. Limon was handled by Cuyo Hernandez and he got in a good fight with Alfonso Zamora's father after Zarate beat Zamora.

I like Boza Edwards good sharp southpaw, he did have some wars they were great fights
to watch win lose or draw.

Going into this fight, I've read that Boza Edwards was more of a boxer. But this was not long after Johnny Owen died fighting Lupe Pintor. Limon was a loudmouth and said that Mexican fighters were going to kill every Brit fighter that came to California. I've read that Boza Edwards decided to go out fighting and changed his style.
