What current titleholders have never fought for a title or defended their title in a foreign country?

Three who come to mind are:

Marco Huck
Floyd Mayweather

Golovkin, Kovalev and Froch have all had title fights in other countries.

Ricky Burns? For lots of fighters there is no point to fight outside their home. They wont sell as many tickets and would rarely make more money so whats the point? Winning the title is when you should have to travel but once the champ most are should be happy to fight in their country. I mean apart from Ward what champ would make more money fighting out of their home country?

Yoan Pablo Hernandez has fought exclusively in Germany

It could be interesting to spin the question around and ask which 'long term' champs never defended in their 'home' Country.

Technically Napoles would be an answer, but not really; so the first that comes to mind is Brian Mitchell. Brian won the crown at home, but never defended it there, there after.

Spot on, the WBA finally agreed to abide by aspects of the Gleneagles Agreement. Although South Africans would still be rated, no WBA title fight would be allowed to be staged in South Africa. Mitchell had just won his title when the WBA announced the decision.

Yes, but thanks to this young Panamanian fella, Ken only made two successful defences.

Looking at Ken's record he would have carried on fighting abroad if he won.

Brian Nielsen never held a major title, just a few insignificant ones.

He never fought outside Denmark, only 3 times early in his career.

Even Tyson had to go to Denmark to fight him.

Don't see Scott Quigg going abroad anytime soon

Buchanan bemoaned the lack of money and opportunities available to him in the UK. He was caught in that era when it looked like the one night exhibition tournaments (since reinvented as 'Prizefighter'), looked to of ruined the sport to anyone weighing less than 160lbs.
