Thread: College Football Playoffs

First time it's ever happened. 'Bout time the college bigwigs decided to adopt a playoff system. Maybe next year they'll up the number from 4 to 6 or 8. Anyway, it's Oregon-Florida State in one semifinal, and Alabama-Ohio State in the other.

Oregon-Florida State:

Oregon is up at halftime, and I'm rooting for them. Can't frigging stand James Winston and hope he gets face-planted a few times. The guy's a douche and he's going to find out what life's all about when he gets to the NFL. A few meetings with J.J. Watt ought to do it.

Alabama-Ohio State:

Later on tonight. Rooting for the Crimson Tide. Love that team, and I'm rooting for them to take it all. Was happy to see their archrival Auburn lose to Wisconsin in another bowl game earlier today.


Winner of those two will meet on Jan 12th for the national championship. If it's Alabama-Oregon, as it should be..... it's gonna tough sledding for the Tide. Oregon's got an uptempo offense that is out of this world. Well..... halftime's over. Gotta go back to watching the game.

Damn..... that was an embarrassing beatdown by Oregon on Florida State.

Especially considering Florida State had a 27-game winning streak going dating back to last season.
Well.... I got what I wanted.
Now it's Alabama up 21-6 over Ohio State near the end of the first half.
Good.

Crap! Alabama gave up the big lead and are out of the championship game.

It's just as well. They would've gotten annihilated by Oregon.
As it is, I don't think Ohio State can hang with the Ducks.

Oh c'mon, man! Don't tell me Ohio State's gonna beat the Ducks.
If I'm gonna stay up well past midnight on a weeknight, I don't want to see the Buckeyes celebrating.

yeah I never liked Ohio. But I never liked Alabama too tough either.
