    Default any interesting hobbies

So I enjoy doing magic. Card tricks of course but my favorite is levitation. Not lifting myself but objects like cards, rings and coins. I can float a card around my body. It's really cool stuff. I'm very amateur. To be a good magician takes a lot of practice.

I play the bass a bit. Been in a couple bands, love learning McCartney melodic bass lines and Grateful dead type rambling improve.

Besides that I enjoy reading and long walks on the beach with Brock and Miles.

Just wondering if anyone wants to discuss any of there hobbies or interests or is this thread to gay.

I do nothing out the ordinary. During term time I work really hard, so dont have the time to do much beyond a little daily reading, a little hill walking and listen to music. On the weekends I just catch up on my news, do more reading, post a little, do some yoga and walking. Nothing special really as I tend to need the rest after the week. I play with the cat, strum a little on the guitar, and lo and behold a new week is here.

I'm big into photography. I finally rigged up a shoe cam so I don't have to bend down to get those upskirt shots at the mall anymore.

I still get highly intoxicated in wet flip flops and run around playing Lawn darts on Saturday nights. I also think a lot and begin sentences I never intend to finish as it gives the impression of interest and participation without actually having or wanting any. I also collect pens. And I like boxing.

Yes charitable, cant a right wing Texan be allowed to do benevolent things or is that only allowed for liberal people in the north?

I volunteer and collect money for the elderly (those in a specific assisted living facility), orphans/children who had to be removed from their families for whatever reasons, and various hospitals that correct burns/orthopedic issues/cleft lips & palates free of charge to the patients that are children.

I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to instruments, I have 3 acoustic guitars, a 12 string acoustic guitar, 1 electric guitar, 2 banjos, a ukulele and a keyboard.

I'm currently getting piano lessons, it's an expensive game but it's really rewarding.

Oh and I have 2 harmonicas as well

I enjoy cooking; playing board games; reading; comedy (I've been half-assed things about putting together a short set and trying it out); trying different craft beers; and hiking. I've been volunteering at a care facility with their music program and will also be volunteering with one of the political parties for the upcoming election.

I used to be really into exercising and was approaching a 400lb deadlift, but I herniated a disc over a year ago and that has REALLY limited the things I can do. Once I'm finally better, I'm going to start some serious trail running in the mountains around here.

I do karate exercises, shadow boxing, and recently added some yoga exercises that I used to do when I was young in my routine. At night I practice meditation. All these I've been doing pretty religiously for years, hardly skipping a day except when I'm pretty sick.

I'm also an expert in playing classical guitar, something I've been doing since I was 10 years old, and believe me that was a very, very long time ago...
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
