Andy Lee has a virus so the fight has been postponed until October 10th and is now going to take place at the MEN arena in Manchester, I don't know if its been mentioned on here yet but I've just heard about it.

Looking forward to the experience. My gut feeling is telling me that ticket sales weren't that good because the first undercard I'd heard about was spike O'Sullivan being added today. Even that wasn't offical. Also Katie Taylor wasn't likely to box on the card either so there literally wasn't an undercard...

Andy Lee has had a virus and wasn't fit enough so they have pulled the Bill.

Still think I'll have a weekend in Dublin but just annoying I can't see the fight.

On the positive side, the show has been moved to 3 days after my birthday to Manchester which is an hour away. Terry flannigan is defending his title and apparently they are building a strong card for it. So it should work out well.

Lee doesn't have a virus. Fact is that the fight couldn't sell tickets. If it could, they'd have rearranged it for Limerick instead of adding it as an undercard fight to Terry Flanagan's first defence.

It's a twat when that happens

I've had it happen three times with fights - and a further twice with non-fight boxer related events (Leonard and Tyson) and lost ticket booking fee and hotel money.

Has really put me off future boxing events I can tell you

Thankfully has never happened for a Vegas fight - that happened to a mate of mine about 15 years ago (a De La Hoya fight I think) . Ouch

still you'll have a good time and don't have to worry about being pissed and missing it

I am surprised this fight is not selling in Ireland. Move it to the UK or USA.
