Default GGG vs Cotto or Alvarez, who would make the better fight?

I think I would go Canelo, I think it would make for the more interesting fight and Canelo has decent head movement and a decent punch variety, if he could press forward and try to force Golovkin onto the back foot then it could make for an interesting fight.

In all fairness though I think GGG beats both of them pretty easily and there would always be the chance that Canelo would freeze again if he realises that he can't do anything to get near GGG.

Cotto is the smaller and older fighter so you have to say Canelo. I think Cotto is overall the better fighter but GGG chews up both of them pretenders.

GGG does not need to fight Ward. Ward needs to fight GGG.

GGG is where it is at because he has earned the right to be the top fighter at middleweight.

Ward doesn't need to fight GGG, Ward needs to fight! People (not you) need to get real, Ward v GGG ain't happening for all sorts of reasons.

Am I wrong in thinking that Ward has had 1 fight in the last 18 months against a boxer who with the best will in the world was a very easily beatable Paul Smith?

Can you really see this fight happening before Cotto or Canelo? I kind of get the feeling that the people who are demanding the Ward fight are the ones who could do with stopping the bollocks

    Time will tell.

Ward is too much for GGG and everyone knows it.

GGG should stick to this bubble and keep ignoring if he wants to remain undefeated..simple as that.

There's 2 ways of staying undefeated.
    1. Fighting people you can beat all the time.
    2. Not bothering to fight, but talk about it all the time.
You will probably say GGG is the first example, but who fits no.2 best? 😂

F*** that happy ggg train that is an LSD train of hallucination. His level of competition has not really been so good and therefore he is looking so stellar. Boxing nowadays does not have a Marvin Hagler who would come forward and decapitate GGG. The ring doctor would be picking up a head which was rolling on the canvas after Marvelous Marvin Hagler physically decapitated him. He cannot fight a steamroller who comes forward and doesn't take a step back he would get his head bashed in his chin has still not even been tested.

If Hagler was around GGG would take him on. GGG has not avoided any middleweight fighter.

I would doubt even Hagler would bother going up to supermiddle to fight Ward when he could stay and take on Cotto/Canelo winner.

Pacmania has turned into GGGmania but GGG has no marquez or floyd in his weight class.

Don't get me wrong I am just as annoyed with andre ward not fighting as everyone else...the difference is that ward is still getting better and is a massive problem for anyone.

Ward must be the only practitioner of anything in the whole of history to get better and improve by not doing anything.

How can you tell that? How can we say he's improving if he never fights?
I'm no GGG nut hugger , but from a boxing perspective, what's not to like?
I'm also not a Ward Hater, but he doesn't do himself any favours.
I fail to see the point of GGG going up to SMW to challenge Ward , as win or lose , there are no other fights up there for him . I think the fight will never happen for all sorts of reasons on both sides, but for the record, if it did, my money would be on Ward.
Nobody is trying to say he's one of the greats , but it's undeniable that he is streets ahead of anyone in the division, and going up in weight isn't really an option because of the above.
