Thread: Most intimidating Heavyweight today?

On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the most intimidating, who is the most intimidating Heavyweight today and why?

We all know Mike Tyson as the scariest man alive in the 80's. We know Foreman was the most feared man in the early 70's. But, what about today?

I think that Wlad is not intimidating at first thought of fighting him. I think people relish the idea of fighting him. But it's when they get into the ring with him and feel his punches and his power and strength, they understand why he is champion. I give Wlad a 3.

I think Deontay Wilder is the most intimidating Heavyweight today. No one wants to fight him, really. No one! But if you have to, you have to!

I don't think Wilder is that intimidating, with his "BombSquad" signature!
I reckon Joshua is more intimidating, very quiet and calculated, but NOBODY compares to Mike Tyson for intimidation.

Generally speaking , Liston was before my time . I know he was intimidating and scared the shit out of Patterson, but I haven't seen much of him in the flesh.
Foreman was intimidating, purely because of his size and what he did to Frazier, but Ali "un-intimidated" him, destroyed the myth.
You could argue Douglas did the same to Tyson, but up till then, well....

Who has had any more fighters pull out or delay against them than Tyson Fury?

You may look at him and see what you think you see but actual pro boxers look at him and see a very difficult opponent to beat and a threat to their career.

Ross, you could be right about Fury being a monster and destroying Wald, but we are talking about looking intimidating here.
Are you trying to tell us a fighter who comes to a boxing presser dressed in a Batman costume is intimidating? Are you saying a fighter who gives himself uppercuts is intimidating? Are you saying a huge heavyweight fighter who was knocked on his fanny by a jumped up cruiserweight is intimidating? You might think so but most of us don't. Fact, as Fenster says.

Should Ortiz impress and get Jennings out convincingly he gets my vote. Appearance, execution and top notch precise bombs in both hands I think Wilder needs a diaper standing next to him.
