This is shaping up to be an embarrassing disaster for Team Trump. Only six days out from the event and Donald himself took to Facebook to record a message offering free tickets to anyone who wanted to attend.
So far DC has received 200 bus permit requests for the inauguration, which means about 12,000 people. There are still hotel rooms available in the District. This is going to be an epic, epic fail.
No one wants to come to Trump's party and it's getting to him. A fucking president of the USA doing videos on Facebook begging people to show up for his party. I can’t even put into words how much of a fuck-boy manoeuvre that is to do.
But if worst comes to the worst I’m sure they’ll round up the thousands of homeless in DC, clean em up, throw them a few bucks and they'll come and fill seats or he’ll just hire regular people to act as fill-ins and clappers.
Where are all those yahoos that attended Don’s campaign rallies? Why doesn’t he pay to personally transport all those to his inauguration ? I’m guessing now that he’s gotten their votes, Don the con does not want to be seen in public with all those “deplorables”
Weather forecasts show that there is a 90% chance of rain in DC on Friday. So Trump has a readymade excuse for empty seats. I believe God is sending a message. So it would not surprise me if there is thunder and lighting.
It seems like no-one and I mean no-one wants to be associated with Trump
Look at the artists who told Trump "Yes."
- Toby Keith
- Doors Down
- The Piano Guys
- The Frontmen of Country
- Jackie Evancho
- King’s Academy Honor Choir
- DC Fire Department Emerald Society Pipes and Drums
I've never heard of any of them
Look at the artists who told Trump "No"
- Justin Timberlake
- Bruno Mars
- Katy Perry
- Aretha Franklin
- Elton John
- Celine Dion
- Andrea Bocelli
- Kiss
- Garth Brooks
- Moby
I’ve heard of all them
(And you can google that yourself. Trump reached out to these and was willing to pay serious money)
And then you have the famous artists who Trump and his people did not even bother asking because they knew what the answer would be, that is, the numerous singers who barred Trump from using their songs on his campaign trail, which include Adele, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Queen, and Green Day.
Now to put this into some historical perspective Obama (And I'm no fan of Obama) had performing at his inaugration
- Bruce Springsteen
- Stevie Wonder
- John Mellencamp
- Beyoncé
- Bon Jovi
- Alicia Keys
- U2.
Not to mention Dustin Hoffman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington and talk show host Oprah Winfrey were all in attendance for Obama's inaugration.
The few famous people who have publicly come out in support of Trump are guys from 80's and 70's. People like Scott Baio (Chachi from Happy Days) and Chuck Norris, who had his neck broken over 40 years ago by Bruce Lee in there famous fight scene in “Way Of The Dragon” (And he's pretty much dined out on that ever since) but to be fair, he did have a half decent career as an action man in the 80's, but he's pretty much irrelevant now.
It's shame for the Trump that the likes of John Wayne and Charlton Heston are not still around, as they would have been 100% Trump supporters but Kid Rock and maybe Clint Eastwood & Jon Voight could fill a few more seats
But if all that don’t work and no-one wants to perform then Trump can play his accordion
