Thread: Is Carl Froch content?

I like Carl Froch but he does seem a tad bitter sometimes with his comments as a pundit.

He is successful outside of the ring and has made a load of money inside it.

Does he secretly feel he could have carried on a bit longer for perhaps a Degale or Ward rematch?

Froch never wanted DeGale as at the time he didn't feel DeGale was worthy and he wasn't enough money, and he didn't want Ward because he knew he'd get beat and made to look daft.
He wanted Chavez Jr. In Vegas and nothing else. When he couldn't get that he spat the dummy out and retired. He didn't want GGG, but 3 days AFTER he retired he posted a pic of his torso in social media saying "too big for GGG!"
Now as soon as Kessler announces a comeback his eyes light up and he puts his name in the hat.
Is he content? Who fucking cares.

Considering half the shit nowadays that passes for thread ideas then I would say Carl Froch is defo content.

Carl is waiting for an opportunity to sell 100,000 seater at Wembley to out do AJ.

Anyone give a shit? He made millions out of George Groves who was ROBBED in the first fight and fair enough lost the second multi million return, had a fair result been delivered in the first fight Groves would be sitting on big noses millions now.

All in all he had a great run and went out on top albeit coming in the backdoor fashion. Still interesting that he's not come nosing back into the division and just walked away though. Betting that the majority of fighters in a way are never truly content once the cheers die down.

I just think he likes to turn his nose up at some of the current fighters today.

It was fairly obvious he never had AJ to win and agrees with the fact that Fury will school him.

I actually believe Fury will beat AJ but as a pundit he should try to remain neutral (and support Degale as well).

Froch is interested in a fight with Kessler, if he is up for that he would be up for Groves, De Gale and even Smith.

If the first fight wasn't stopped controversially there never would've been a Wembley rematch. Groves has continued to get chance after chance and has made fortunes without even being "world" champion (yet).

Both of them owe Howard Foster (the ref) big time for fucking up. Shit... there might not have even been AJ-Wlad at WEmbley if it wasn't for that
