Amir Khan touches down at Brisbane Airport ahead of rumoured appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Speculation has been hotting up that he will be appearing on the latest series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

And Amir Khan was spotted touching down at Brisbane Airport, Australia on Saturday, all but confirming rumours he will enter the celebrity jungle next week.

The boxer, 30, who has recently reunited with his pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom, looked in fantastic spirits despite the 23 hour flight from the UK, playfully shadow boxing as he walked through the terminal.

The Olympic silver medallist, who couldn't keep the smile off his face, kept things casual cool for his arrival, donning a navy blue hoodie, black t-shirt and teal joggers for the flight.

He finished his outfit with black Adidas trainers and a cream, green and white shoulder bag.

Amir looked perfectly groomed despite having stepped right off a long-haul flight with his locks perfectly quiffed and rocking a neat beard.

Amir was in such high spirits to have touched down in Australia that he relied upon a smiling female pal to push his mountain of suitcases.

According to The Sun, show bosses were keen to sign the star onto the line-up, as they believe he will make 'great TV' - in light of his turbulent romantic life in recent weeks.

The reports however come just one day after Amir confirmed he had reconciled with his four month pregnant spouse Faryal , following their acrimonious split two months ago.

While his appearance has not been fully confirmed, the paper claims the boxer has already jetted Down Under, leaving bosses 'confident' he will appear on the show.

He has done nothing in the ring for years now, and the only way he is a celebrity is by plastering his private life and dignity across the tabloid newspapers.

By comparison Khan has given us masterbating to women on lap tops, arguing with AJ about his wife on Twitter and his marriage difficulties on TV.

Ironically enough 'I'm a celebrity..get me outta here' was what he was saying to Canelo when he flushed what was left of 147 legitimacy down the toilet .

At least we now know that Amir is not serious about his boxing career.

If he can spend 4 years largely idle & avoid fighting some cracking fighters in a stacked 147 division & now take even more time out to appear on reality TV, then that is proof that Khan does not have the desire to fight any of the big guns at 147.

This is a ploy to raise his profile for a ppv fight against Kell Brook.

It has been a while since he boxed, hasn't it? Silly plonker going up to fight Canelo probably did his chin and confidence in for good. He's probably waiting for that Mayweather fight again.
