Default Fraizer is a hard man to impress

Nothin impressed Joe on FNF. Gotta love the old guy though, he has the right to say whatever he wants. One of the greatest HW's of all time. Kinda sad seein him hit that heavy bag.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Yea, I definetly don't see why they even had him do that bag stuff.. I noticed that he wasn't impressed as well, but really.. How could you be impressed with that kind of main event. Joe Frazier himself could probably have hobbled his way into the ring for the 12th round and dropped both of those fools.

as much as I love Joe I thought he was a bit hard on the undercard, I mean what do you expect out of a FNF undercard?

They didn't even really have him comment that much on the main event, any criticism there was fine, I thought he would light up Fraudley

I thought Joe had the right to speak in such critical manner. I thought his criticism was right on the mark too. I know you guys will jump on me for that, but I don't care. I truely think Joe is very correct on today's boxing. But there are a few good guys in the sport, trainers and boxers.

well considering Frazier fought for 3 minutes of every round of the highest intensity i don't blame him at all. Most heavyweights today do jack shit in the ring these days

joe frazier wasnt that good as a fighter, lets be realistic he was however quite charming as a man and a nice guy when he was younger, but now he slurs more so then james phoney

basically, what we can learn is todays heavyweights arent conditioned well, they wouldnt last 3 weeks in the TA i can tell you

obviously you dont understand how tough it is to be a soldier, take james phoney, 237 pounds and hes dead short

i myself am 6 foot and 180 lbs, no fat on me, my mates in the TA some of them are 6 foot 2 or more and more muscular then you can imagine and they would probably be world champions if they wanted to be, thats how conditioned they are

    precisely

look at brian hopkins for example

45 years old or whatever and was world champion until that man beat him who was much younger, some of the TA instructors are in their 40s and i tell you what you wouldnt pick a fight with them!

personally i dont box but some of the lads do, they have taught me some boxing movements and they reckon my style is like mike tysons and not cos i hit women lol (never have hit a women but if i was on duty and she needed to be taken out, i wouldnt hesitate, i mean in the TA you cant hesitate or its life or death)

i am trained in unarmed combat tho so if a boxer attacked me i could do some specail moves and cripple them, in theory lol one time i did get punched on the nose when we were messing around and it hurt bad my eyes watered and everyone thought i was crying! i wasnt i laughed and kicked him in the shin lol it was all bruised afterwards

were bloody nutters in the TA mate lol

3 week sn the TA??...i thought you only spend about 19-26 days a year ...A YEAR in the TA i dont think ANYBODY spends 3 whole weeks in the TA do they?,its sorta like Americas reservists weekend warrior

the average heavyweight runs about 10 K 4 times aweek ....its the intensity taht they are lacking tehy get that comfort Zone w/ there opponent ...Joe always tried to KO the otherman ...

secondly corpral i think that joe Frazier has proven he was a great boxer by KOing people Like George Chuvallo and Quarry (who had insane chins) and buster mathis and Jimmy ellis.. he out boxed bonovena for 15 rounds ...he was by far the best ...the only people that could ever beat seemed to be Froeman and Ali ..(ali barely) ,i'm not being biased just because i've spent alot of time at Joe Fraziers gym but all you need to do is watch some of his fights and look at his record and watch the people he fought fight other people and its pretty much common sense that he was A GREAT boxer and champion ...i think he could outwork Lazy fighters like Lennox Lewis easily his work rate was too much ...Lewis would get too tired
