To be honest if the Heavyweight scene had anything about it, we would of been saying bye bye Wlady along time ago.

CC... Exactly. Wlad CAN be better than Byrd but he is certainly less consistent.. There talent is actually about the same p4p, I figure. But Byrd is really the better fighter, because he doesnt get KOed by nobodys.

I like watching the smaller Byrd fight off the huge monster heavyweights. Wlad is only entertaining if he fights really bad boxers. He gets hammered by anyone else, and I guess that's kinda entertaining to. But a champ with a jaw like his wouldn't hold the belt to long, so it doesn't really matter if he wins.

Yea Byrd and Brewster have the most exiting Heavyweight fights(with the exception of the Williamson fight which wasn't Byrd's fault because it was DaVarryl that tried to run all night when Chris wanted to come forward)

But Byrd against Golata, and McCline were some of the most exiting Heavyweight fights of the year. just the fact he takes on and beats guys 30 40 pounds Heavier and wins, he should get respect more then he does.

You obviously haven't seen many of his fights. Or you just like to comment on things you know nothing about just to get a rise out of people who actually do know what they are talking about.

    agreed.

byrd, IMO, is a very interesting fighter to watch. he's been in a number of intriguing duels and usually succeeds. byrd doesnt get the respect he deserves...

IF you appreciate boxing Byrd is very fun to watch... he is the only actually skilled heavyweight out there... and has anything remotely looking like head movement, and footwork.

You don't think Wladimir is skilled?

thats what irritates me, people act as if both the klitchkos just throw bombas and have no tactic, meanwhile they both OUTBOXED the "only skilled" HW

Damn, I didn't mean to get a rise out of so easily. The Byrd part was my opinion, but feel free to illustrate how I'm wrong about Wlad. I've seen plenty of his fights and have yet to see his greatness. I just don't understand the hype. Please, point out what makes him great. And don't rattle off about Byrd, because he's good like Wlad, but not great either.
