I was bored at work today and saw there was not ONE group on the site. What better group to start than a group of Saddo Vets that share the same sentiment of the Old School persuasion. There is no need to put OLD GUARD next to your Avatar if you don't want to. I choose to in honor of the original Old Guard started by JT many moons ago. This is an invite only group. Cheers Mike
Thanks a lot for the invite guy. Not so long ago, I had no idea about what was the old guard, the Baggins Clan or the Dark squad all about. Then I received this invitation to my surprise (because I am kind of a green member yet) and reading the description, I got a smile because somehow it means that I am an appreciated contributor in general Means a lot to me and I hope that I'll be a good non gay poster boy for the old guards values over here.

Thanks, Saddo. I was interested to see how it worked as well. Nameless, You've been here about a year and a half and have well over 1000 posts. You're a vet at this point. I just tend to shy away from the arguments of the fan boys. I tend to look at every fighter objectively as even the fighters I "dislike" sometimes has more to do with their personality or quirks than their actual skill level and ability and it that's what's important. Most of the long standing members have a similar outlook. I like to have a bit more exclusivity than the hidden boards because, for all intents and purposes, at some point ANYONE can get in there with the right amount of posts. ...Hence the invite only.
Oh, I also like how you can subscribe to the group so it always sits in the USER CP... That's pretty handy.
