Holmes vs Cobb
....you know you could just list the fights brock
I am they did not stop the Gatti fight against Ward.
Also Haye was battering Carl Thompson from pillar to post.
Same with Holyfield v Bowe.
I remember watching Gabe Ruelas v Jimmy garcia and having a sick feeling. Vitali v Briggs
Probably one of the best fights ever could've been stopped earlier... but it would've deprived us of a classic for the ages: Corrales-Castillo I. It's a fine line those refs must walk... all the respect in the world to the best of them. Many of us can sit back and criticize after the fact. But it takes a special "something" to know when it's time to stop a fight.
Each time I revisit Morales/Ayala I find it tougher to watch. That was a sustained total beat down and I could not believe Paulie's chin. I think that fight ruined him.
Frenkel/Macaranelli
these are great examples yes ındeed.
For my likings nothing comes close to Williams-Jack II.
Not only was it brutal but gut wrenching. At one point Williams stops throwing punches and looks at the ref. saying what are you waiting for? Ref. does nothing and Williams wales off another set of free shots.
I believe he lands about 50 FREE shots on Jack until the ref. jumps in...

I think some people misread the question, this is basically one sided fights say Calzaghe vs Lacy for example. That should of been stopped but went the distance anyway, fights like Corrales vs Castillo 1 doesn't count unless im wrong Brockton ?
I thought the same as you guys at first i put.
Benny Kid Paret vs Emile Griffith 3
Alex Garcia vs Bull Benton
