Hopkins/DLH - Hagler/Leonard
I'm pretty sure somebody has mentioned this before, but I think Oscar will run, throw patty cakes, and stick his toungue out, and take a the champs title just like another travesty in 1987...........
I hope I'm wrong, and Bernard can lower the boom on the pretty boys face.
But hitting DLH can be like starting a roll of sellotape at times.
No way DLH will be as hittable in this one as he was against Sturm........
Look for him to move all night long in a snoozathon.
Re:Hopkins/DLH - Hagler/Leonard
Hopkins is good, but no Hagler
DLH is better at 154/160 than SRL was (excluding the Kalule fight)
That is why I am taking DLH by late stoppage
I can understand the comparision, but DLH will prove it wrong ;)

I agree Greig, in my view this has got snoozeathon written all over it. I hope I'm wrong but thats the way I see it.
Despite this I will still be forking out the cash to see it on Sky Box Office mind :-\
Re:Hopkins/DLH - Hagler/Leonard
Yup me too, I'll be paying to fall asleep through most of it ;)
Re:Hopkins/DLH - Hagler/Leonard
Yeah, no doubt I'll be forking out the dough as well.......
I can't see a DLH stoppage at all Britkid.
Possible outcomes:-
DLH in a tight, gift decision (DLH runs all night)
Hopkins by WIDE decision (DLH gets badly shook up and runs all night)
Hopkins by KO. (most unlikely of the 3)
Re:Hopkins/DLH - Hagler/Leonard
Many are down on Oscar after the Sturm fight, but I have a feeling we will see a better showing of De La Hoya on this night.
Re:Hopkins/DLH - Hagler/Leonard
Hopkins will win and Oscar must lost ;) . . .
Hopkins is 40 years old :o old for boxing ;D But he as 25 - 30 ;)
In old time was a very good macht Hopkind VS Roy Jones ;) . . .
Good Luck for Hopkins . . .
Re:Hopkins/DLH - Hagler/Leonard
I'm surprised at the predictions of a snoozer!
:nono::bored:
I think Oscar hits hard!!! Ask Vargas.
I think B-Hop hits hard!!! Ask Tito.
That to me is intriguing.
;)
~note of interest.
Hopkins lost his first pro fight!
I didn't know that.
:dunce:
Re:Hopkins/DLH - Hagler/Leonard
Yeah but the only dude beat him since is RJJ bro, he hasnt even looked close to losing apart from that night........If this decision is as foul as the Hagler v Leonard fight then I'LL FUCKIN RETIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopkins will do this easy IMO, What we forget is yeah he ran against Tito all night, but Hopkins aint Tito. Hes a ring General in the truest sense of the word.....He wont LET DLH run all night, and Leonard carried 160 way better than DLH. I think that we should all check the Vegas bookies......they rarely get it wrong boys ;)
