hi there i was just wondering if anyone know of any good boxing trainers and managers in the bradford and west yorkshire area. i have been boxing for 11 years on and off now and i think it is time to go pro i have read some info on the BBBofC and turning pro and i have most of the stuff i need as i have just left the army please could someone just give me some info.

well in amuture i had 24 bouts 23 wins and 12 stoppages so im ok at fighting. i boxed for the combined services in the army and i have a big family plus alot of friends so i think i could do both but i know pro is completely different. :)
How far are you prepared to travel.I know of a gym 30 miles away, And the Manager puts shows on in the area He/s a good man to, and very fair. send a pm to me.
i can travel up to 30 miles i shouldn't see this as a problem but i can't pm you for some reason the site won't let me is the place in huddersfield?

Sheffield He has a couple of Lads from Bradford maybe come down with them. I have a lad comes down from Skipton they think its worth it.
Make sure your trainer cares about you and making money isn't his top priority
but scrap has a good point..............to be successfull in this sport you've to be able to sell tickets! people have got to like you more than anything
thanks scrap i know some lads that go to Sheffield donavan smile, siddy and Jr witter i know these lad personally and i can drive there myself as for donavan and Jr live in Sheffield they train a ingles's gym. is this the same gym as you was meaning. another friend of my Gavin he was an ex-pro and he told me to go to his old gym where mark hobson trains in Huddersfield i was talking to him last night and he said he would take me down but is there any point if i haven't got my licence yet? or should i go to see what the gym is like and get to know the trainers and stuff?

i think my friend trains there Sujad Elahi. Im pritty sure he does well i think i will be seeing him tonight if he come to my gym. i use to train with him at bradford golden gloves. if he comes then i will ask him for some info on how to contact the gym or maybe you could pm me with any contact info? if not then its ok
