James Toney and Pound 4 Pound List?

After his recent performances I cannot see how he can make any P4P lists.

At a time yes and he (if he lost weight and was bothered) has a massive arsenal of boxing skills, but I dont see why he should be put in the list when he doesnt seem to do anything as of late.

His last fight was a disgrace, how anyone would seriously want to watch that, let alone PAY for it, is beyond me.

I just cant get my head around that in todays game, he is still apearing in P4P lists, he is a fat mess, that shows no heart, if he cannot be bothered to at least shape up, and show he wants it, and his desire, he doesnt deserve to be a champion.

It seems he is after the $$$ which is fair enough, I cant knock him for that, but for me h deserves to be no where near the P4P list.

Good points man cant disagree with any of them I think toney likes fighting and likes eating but doesnt like the hard work. maybe we could put him on an inch for inch list,
to be fair to james though i heard he aparred anything close to 500 rounds for the rock fight. Thats alot.

He has the talent, and the belt is staring at him in the face, he just doesnt seem to want it enough.

They said on the pre-fight that ive got that sparring is the only training he does. so this may be why so many rounds

sparring is not enough....toney needs to lose some weight and mix up the training....

toney is near the end of the road, if he's not careful he could finish up messily...

I dont hope he finish's a mess, but I hope he finishes.

He bores me with all the talk that comes out his mouth, he just cant back it up.

for sure its not enough....toney smokes cigars and likes to eat. he was gassed out half the fight against rahman!!! the man needs to get on the road and build up some stamina!!! training is not just about what Mr Toney wants....and that seems to be the way it goes...

roach should not tolerate such nonsense....and yet if he really cared about it, surely he would make a stand...

roach annoys me too actually....roach has let both toney and tyson get away without doing the prerequisite gym work....

Toney looked bad against rahman, and thats saying soemthing because Rahman is one of the worst Heavyweight champions ever.....
