Roy Jones to fight Prince Badi Ajamu
Kevin Iole, Las Vegas Review Journal
-- Attorney Jim Thomas, who for years guided former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield's career, is now advising ex-champion Roy Jones Jr.
Thomas said Jones will fight in the summer against Prince Badi Ajamu, then hopefully take a step up in competition later in the year.
Thomas said Jones has patched up differences with HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg, who fired him as an analyst this year because Jones refused to attend production meetings.
Thomas said one of his goals is to ensure Jones relates better with the media than he has in the past.

My bad, I missed the Game's post on this
Interesting choice, obviously just a tuneup, I've seen Ajamu and he's kinda strong but not that great.
Re: Roy Jones to fight Prince Badi Ajamu
I think if Roy Jones Jr. should return to boxing this is the way to do it... if he loses this one, but that put aside I always respected that he cared about boxers safety, and IMO never really wanted to seriously hurt anyone, but now he is hurting somebody... himself. In the last few fights he's been a little hypocritical, but like I said about Zab, and all fights if somebody is scared that they will be knocked out... it will happen. If he gets his confidence back... like it or not but he still has more handspeed p4p than anyone in the sport, and you can probably include him in the top 5 in reflexes still.

Prince Badi Ajamu's style may be a little bit of a problem for Jones'. And his power. I agree if Jones loses this one, its over.
