IBF welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather has rejected an August 12 fight with Antonio Margarito and bought out his contract with Top Rank. Arum told ESPN that Mayweather paid Top Rank $750,000 to become a free agent. Top Rank will now use the August 12 date for the mandatory WBC title fight between Hasim Rahman and Oleg Maskaev with Antonio Margarito on the undercard. Floyd is eying a possible showdown with Oscar De La Hoya.

This is crazy man, I really wanted to see the Tony and PBF fight to. And now he's no-longer with Top Rank jesus who is making this guys decisions.
