Contender bullsh*t!

The contender is currently airing in oz and there is some bullshit in that crap. For one...anyone know how to see the whole of the fights coz they are showing us what they want us to see. How are we ment to know its fair? And stallone....fuck you know jackshit about boxing mate, you stand in the audience and yell out "TOE TO TOE"....and the most idiotic statement in boxing goes to SLY STALLONE! Plus its funny to hear someone ask sly about a rocky six and he says "What am i going to fight, arthritis?" well hes making another one lol . I swear most of that shit is scripted, its too much like rocky. Plus that old trainer dude....tommy, i know he has trained boxers before but he sounds like he knows jack shit....he said Ahmed could hang with the dela hoyas of the world but got whooped by ishe. The best fighter out of them all is Gomez, he got heart...skill and power. I find it hard to see how manfredo beat him the second time, even with the shit highlights it looks like you could make a case for gomez.

Its all bullshit infact its so bullshit my dad is starting to think that even the fights are staged but we agreed that the judgin could be totally fucked but we wouldnt know coz they are only showing what they want us to see. They should of showed us full fights instead of flickin back and forth to the family members with shocked faces and srl faking being shocked

Big Brother concept was superb; and although not original, it was built off the brilliance of Orwell.

But that should of been it; it was done once, it should left alone for a very long time. But instead we get crap like 'Contenders' spawning from it; Winston must be turning in his proverbial grave!

I loved that... SRL doing this all the time: :o as if he didn't have a clue what boxing was and thought that they where jsut going to parade around the ropes all day.

In one of them it looks as if he was an innocent guy walking around with his freinds and knew nothing of violence etc and the two guys he where with suddenly starting beating the crap out of each other.... then he starts faintly trying to tell them to stop it but is cut short mid sentance because he is so disgusted...

Yeah the whole fuckin thing is scripted. It all sounds too much like rocky ;)

It wasn't aimed at boxing fans... thats why every fight's desicion depended on the last round (according to the way it was cut)

No one drew a round or barely won a round... they dominated the round and then it was the other guy's turns to win a round... ::**

Exactly, it was too back and forth to be real. It was aimed at rocky fans not boxing fans.
